For sale in Australia, one of the 12 very rare RTVs that were built at the end of the 1990s. Four were assembled at the factory during the time that RTV was operated, and eight–including this one–were built from scratch after bankruptcy with the remaining inventory. Based on the engine serial number (000-12E), this one may be the last one.
The bike was purchased new in 2002 by the current owner from Union Jack Motorcycles in Melbourne Australia and it has been stored since new, having only done 106 road kms. Registered as a 1975 Egli Solo and it can be titled in many countries (check with your local department of transport what 1975 regulation translates as requirement).
Promoted as RTV 1200 Black Widow, this bike was rather built as a TPV with TPV logo but Terry Prince was not involved in the assembly. More details about the RTV story can be found pages 291-294 of Vincent Motorcycles – The Untold Story since 1946.
