On June 26-27-28 was held the 4th EVG (Egli-Vincent Godet) rally in Arbois (France). Open to Egli-Vincent and Vincent’s owners, it was a fantastic event with a seamless organization, perfect weather, roads that were carved for the Egli, abundant food and local wine and friendship that sealed the all. About 25 bikes were attending and among our distinguished guests were: Fritz Egli who came from Switzerland riding his Black Shadow sidecar, Patrick Godet with his Black Prince sidecar and Florent Pagny (Patrick Godet’s business partner) with his latest Black Shadow that made its first laps since 1959, date of its last tax disc! Can’t wait for the next edition…

  1. It appears there is going to be an international gathering in Belleville Ontario this weekend. So I expect some will be around town and roaming Prince Edward County roads. Cheers,

  2. Talk about some serious eye candy . And you mean to tell me Godet wouldn’t think me half out of my mind if I were to bring up the idea of a Godet Egli Vincent sidecar rig with him ? Hmmmn . Speaking of which any chance you could include more photos of the sidecars present ? And thanks for the post !

  3. Yes more sidecars please… the Precision and Gemini – Vincent outfits deserve some photos, given the passing of their builder. he is missed!
